2026 Flute Fest Rising Stars

Registration Deadline: April 1st, 2026

For 2026, Rising Stars will take place as a live masterclass opportunity for students  under 18 and with at least 1 year of playing experience.

Bring any polished piece, etude, or excerpt (no accompaniment required) and receive live coaching! Space is first-come/first-served.

Registration Information:

• Students must be under 18 and with at least one year of playing experience. 

• In order to participate in the Rising Stars Masterclass, students must submit Rising Stars registration, register for Flute Fest ($25 students and become a member of UMFA (if not currently a member) by April 1st, 2026. There is no additional fee to participate in the Rising Stars Masterclass.

• Suggested performance time is no more than 3 minutes (excerpts of longer works are permitted).

• The times will be assigned by April 5th.
